Cookies Policy
Last updated: 25 July 2026
1. What this Policy covers
This Cookies Policy explains how Seatingly uses cookies, local storage, pixels, tags, and similar browser technologies across our website and related online services.
Cookies are small files stored on a browser or device. Similar technologies may store information locally, read device or browser information, or record interactions with a website.
2. Why we use these technologies
We may use cookies and similar technologies to:
- keep the website and account features working;
- maintain sessions and security;
- remember settings and consent choices;
- understand how pages and features are used;
- diagnose errors and improve performance;
- measure marketing sources and campaign performance; and
- support advertising or remarketing where enabled and permitted.
3. Cookie categories
Strictly necessary
These technologies support essential functions such as authentication, security, load balancing, fraud prevention, session continuity, booking submissions, and storage of cookie choices. They cannot normally be disabled through Cookie Preferences because the requested service may not work without them.
Preferences
These remember choices such as language, interface settings, location, display options, and other requested preferences. Where required by law, they are used only after consent.
Analytics
These help us understand visits, navigation, feature use, errors, and performance. Analytics information helps improve Seatingly and measure whether content is useful. Where consent is required, analytics storage and tags remain disabled until consent is given.
Marketing
These may measure campaigns, limit repeated advertising, create audiences, or help display relevant advertising across services. Where consent is required, marketing storage, pixels, and tags remain disabled until consent is given.
4. Consent choices
On the first applicable visit, users should be offered:
- Accept All
- Reject Non-Essential
- Manage Preferences
Necessary technologies remain available. Optional categories must default to off where prior consent is required. Accept and Reject must be similarly visible and easy to use. Closing or ignoring the banner must not be treated as consent.
Choices can be changed at any time through Cookie Preferences in the footer. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
5. Google consent signals
If Google Analytics, Google Ads, or related Google tags are enabled, the site should initialize consent signals as denied before optional tags can use storage. The consent interface should update analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data, and ad_personalization according to the user’s choice.
Consent Mode does not replace the consent interface or this Policy. Non-essential scripts must remain blocked where required until the necessary choice has been made.
6. Third-party technologies
Some technologies may be provided by analytics, advertising, support, video, payment, security, or embedded-service providers. Those providers may process information according to their own privacy policies.
The Cookie Preferences interface identifies the optional technologies currently enabled, including their provider, purpose, and duration. We update the consent configuration and this Policy when relevant technologies change.
7. Browser and device controls
Browsers may allow users to block or delete cookies. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent account, booking, security, or preference features from working properly.
Where legally required and technically supported, Seatingly recognizes applicable browser privacy signals, including Global Privacy Control, for relevant sale or sharing opt-outs.
8. How long cookies remain
Some technologies operate only for the current browser session, while others remain for a defined period or until deleted. Consent choices should be retained only for a reasonable period and requested again when they expire, when the purposes materially change, or when required by law.
The live cookie-preference interface should show the applicable provider, purpose, and duration for each enabled non-essential technology.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Cookies Policy when technologies, providers, legal requirements, or our practices change. The date above shows the latest revision.
